Being old is good. Each sweep is another badge of proof that you can survive. Glad to hear you've been around for a long while. I do like to read. I haven't had much access to books as of recent, and i've been busy for a time. I hope to pick it back up soon. I was halfway through the Mortal Engines series.

Ah, wonderful. I am looking forward to it. I'm quite invested... I might reread from the beginning once I'm able to do so. There are no libraries anywhere near here, unfortunately, and even if there were, entering and leaving this basin is a chore only Ormici seems particularly willing to do at present. I'd rather they don't, but I'm not going to deny them their recently-found freedom.

As previously stated, money is an issue. That being said... There are certainly plenty of ways to pirate it, if online libraries do not have it. I may see if I can tap into Earth or Earth-C's online library networks, they may be more abundant than Alternia's. At current I have been reading fanfiction on my palmhusk instead. Amateur writing is also important and interesting, but if it's a printed book, i want to feel the paper, so I don't usually seek out e-books... That being said, I have been missing it. So maybe I will.
