The splintering of the branches every time a new group decides to play this fucked up game leads to some very fascinating instances of Alternia.
i am not sure if that game is responsible for how fucked up ours has become.
post-empire collapse. technically this is a good thing, and i welcome it, but i'd be a fool to not see how much chaos it put alternia and colony planets through for the first couple of sweeps.

on alternia, various factions are trying to establish order, and have been mostly succeeding. right now it looks to be trading and mercantile companies. most fled with the remaining ships the planet had with goals of starting their own colonies or fleeing the masses. the handful that remain stick to the equator with violet armies in the sea and navies above, trying to one up one another to determine who's the next successor. this has not lead anywhere and it's been almost 11 sweeps.
