I see. I've been reading your breakdown of them that you posted a week ago. It's quite informative.
i'm glad!! let me know if you have any questions, apparently i'm a professor now.
Perhaps...you say that Balloons is the closest to a caliginous charm, similar to spades in the quadrants, but yet it isn't? Is there a level of desire to better the other through adversarial pursuit to it?
haha, no? it's not about gettin' better or anythin' like that. i guess you could add that in if you wanted but i've never heard of anything like that, is that usually a part of the spades deal? i'm still learnin' quadrants.
Spades is a unique quadrant, and one that's been somewhat elusive to me. Intense rivalry is a simplification of it, where you feel an intimacy with someone you hate. Though sometimes "hate" feels too broad a term, in my opinion. It is looking at someone and feeling annoyed by them but still compelled rather than repelled. It's wanting to irritate them in the hopes to get a reaction and their attention. It's pushing each other's buttons and wanting them to keep challenging you. ...Or so I surmise from research.
wow, this is the best explanation i've gotten. thanks, inspector! yeah, i think there's some similar aspects to balloons, but i definitely wouldn't call them the same at all.
You're welcome, Mr. Clover. Is it my understanding then with Balloons there's an almost, hm, not-quite zany but at least mischievous back and forth of pursuit of the other? Someone you enjoy toying with?
it can be zany if you like. :P but yes, the pursuit is the core!
I see. I think I understand. I fear I may not be as inherently whimsical without a little chemical encouragement for some of the charms, but this does give me much to think about. Thank you for clarification.
