// Alright, quadrant talk because I want to (if you don't use quadrants irl feel free to ignore) In human romance, it's fairly common to use <3 platonically, and while there's no rule in troll romance saying you *can't* use <3, <>, <3<, and c3< platonically, if you want to do so you have to make a choice of which symbol to use. This act of making a choice comes with Implications, implications I'd much rather avoid when talking to people I decided to go digging for some proposals for what a fifth playing card suit could be, and I found the idea of the 5th suit being the Shield. I like it because it's pretty much the only one I found that can be made easily as an emoticon: 3> To clarify, this isn't a "5th quadrant" or anything, just a 5th symbol to use when you want to throw a quadrant symbol at someone but can't or don't want to decide which one to use. If anyone has any other proposals I'd love to hear them /:)
