I think one thing you might want to know about is one of the properties of our/my skin. I'm pretty sure this applies to the others, we're all fuzzy. Leprechauns are called Frogs on the offhand because we're a more or less amphibious species. But the reason we're FUZZY is kindof to make us hard for fish and other water animals to see us. We're kindof built for water hunting. When we're in the water, the fuzz kinda makes a weird barrier between the liquid and the skin that's all shimmery in a way. fish are sooooo stupid they dont know what they're looking at until they get eaten lol. BUT!!! that's not why i bring it up. I bring it up because if you break that layer of seperation, then the fuzz does the exact damn fucking opposite. Fuzz will soak up liquid right up to the skin like nothing else, and it is a nightmare sometimes. Have you ever had to get a wine stain out of a towel? Imagine of that towel was your skin. I don't know about the other guys, But I stain so easily. Bloodstains in particular are hard to get out. Red is a very, very different color to green, and when you get a wound, the fuzz will wick the blood into a big ugly spread before it starts dripping. it's a nightmare for me but you seem to like your yaoi black.i would think that'd be fun for YOU.

another thing i'm thinking about that would probably be useful for your apparent RPF or elsewise, I don't have a nose and none of the leprechauns I know have a nose. We actually smell through the roofs of our mouths. Tastes are very tasty for me! I assume! I don't know what it's like to have a nose! Also our ears dont have the little earcups like humans and i assume trolls do. you know the little cups you guys have for directing sound inwards. Our ears are just kinda in our head. There's a bit of skin covering mine, even.

It varies from person to person. Some leprechauns are a little bit bristle-scrubby feeling, but it's not STIFF, if that makes sense. Others, like me, Are very very soft. I've been told before that I feel like a velvety plush toy :) Fuzz has all sorts of natural variation!
Something like that, Yeah! When I'm specifically trying to smell something and not just breathe, I kindof arc my tongue in my mouth pressed against the back of my lower teeth so the air gets all concentrated directly over the sensory-organ stuff. Does that make sense? I think it does. Although for the purposes of frog/carapace stuff, Most carapaces don't really smell like much unless it's a smell they've added on. I don't think they can sweat??? They have an exoskeleton. (They also have a second, interior skeleton. Annoying.) ...Except for like, Bad Breath. Some carapaces do have bad breath for the same reasons anything else would.
as a side note, its a personal pet peeve of mine when people call it Fur or Hair. Like. maybe TECHNICALLY it's a type of fur but I don't see those people calling peaches Hairy. I'm not hairy. I'm fuzzy. I genuinely don't know how anyone else feels about that, That's just me.
