i get it haha, but giving yourself days off is always a great way to maintain in the mental health department but nahh wont get into that stuff lol. thanks a bunch, detective hope i can update you when i finish the book
yeah when i'm having my down time i tend to get bored and curious about what's going on in the next chapter, it kind of pulled me in lol. work seems to be dreading us both, i hope everything's good on your end
just posting for an update on this book im reading: fadeout by joseph hansen finished the first sixteen chapters of fadeout and i’m really enjoying it so far. dave brandstetter’s a great protagonist. very direct, but still interesting to follow. the pacing’s good too, feels like every conversation matters. keeps making me rethink what’s actually going on. glad you recommended it @deadeyeDetective
((Hate that there was a record scratch in my head of “wait, hold on cronus is kind of right though” lmao
on brand for someone with detective in their handle would be partial to hardboiled fiction, haha. i'll pick up then, if it's interesting. i've had my fair share of mystery genres in my days, it might be right up my alley. appreciate it a lot, detective.
