Sometimes actions speak louder than words, putting in the effort even when you know it won't work shows drive. Aside from that, if you do genuinely want someone dead I'm looking for an excuse to get my hands dirty anyways.

Apologies my mind is somewhere else currently, just a little hard to be decisive. I personally am just providing multiple levels of advice, if you physically can't ignore him I say go for the throat but if you can, then just forget about him find someone else to distract you either with their strength or warmth up too you.
