Not really! If excluding information constitutes a lie, then every conversation must by definition be full of them.
That is quite an obtuse interpretation for a supposedly omniscient being. You know as well as I that there is a difference between not stating something because it is not relevant, and not stating something that is relevant with the strict purpose of obfuscation. Such as choosing your words with particularity to avoid incriminating oneself.
I and those like me give information that is needed, and relevant, at the time. If the others in the conversation desire more information than is given, then it is on them to ask better questions.
Ergo. Lying by omission. You need not tell me, Mistress, what the purpose of you and your counterparts. Secrets and lies, after all, are far more my domain than they are yours.
