You’re listening to… Happy first day of this fantastic thing called “Pride Month”, Midnight City. Now some folks out there used to care if you were with a guy or a doll, if you can believe it, and there were some real brave folks who stood against that kinda nonsense despite all the trouble and heartache it brought them. Some of these folks had to live on the downlow, even some of our fav jazz musicians. One such individual who worked with Jelly Roll Morton was named Tony Jackson, and he wrote and played music for some of those early greats. Here’s their song “Pretty Baby”. …Midnight City Jazz!
