@ #gore @ @ it was my fifth sweep of life, the first time i successfully managed to elude my lusus' vigilance. perhaps she had overeXerted herself on a previous hunt, or perhaps she was simply not paying attention, but i managed to slip through the large, metal gates of my lawnring, and awkwardly wander into the town at the base of the mountain my hive is situated on. @ @ i was already fairly tall at that age. i ponder whether it is some kind of mutation, occasionally. but even then, i could have been considered imposing to those sweeps ahead of me. that, combined with the fact those who reside there were unfamiliar with me, likely contributed to the fact that it took me a while to encounter anyone. @ @ there was nothing in my pusher but curiosity and eXcitement that i could finally end my solitude, tinged with an indescribable anXiety. one that would find its eXistence validated once i did finally cross paths with that unfortunate redblood. everything gets blurry, after that, until a point in which i'm covered in red and holding a limp body. @ @ i still think about her, occasionally. more often than i'd like to. @
