I wouldn't quite go that far, but... Yes, it does certainly cheapen it. When you are saying "oh gog" what you should be doing is giving in to the urge to say "oh fuck" like anyone else. And if you don't want to swear, at least "Oh god" is actually.. A thing, for humans. And not a joke that somehow got taken seriously by a bunch of people for... Some reason.
