Yes. To not have the "correct powers for your caste" does not actually mean all that much. A significant number of rustbloods have no telekinesis. A significant amount of bronzebloods have no sway with animals, many ceruleans cannot even read minds let alone control them and so on, and so forth. You are not unusual for it, and it certainly isn't a disability. It just is what it is.

They very much are. Unfortunately the kinds of people who love using them are generally the type who are having too much fun looking down on others to care if they're gauche. Its embarrassing for them, in my opinion. They should grow up and treat others with a modicum of respect.
