nothing more lonesome or awe inspiring than the original voyager out at the edges of our system seeing and scanning things that no one ever has and probably no one ever will again knowing that she can never return home and knowing that this was her mission in life and finding peace with that somehow but back home tears are still shed for her loss and her sacrifice and theres still that rolling pitted feeling in your gut that says what if there was a better way but you know there wasnt and its too late for that anyway
