Yeah. I just get a bit worried when trolls do the whole "humans are soft pathetic creatures" bit, because it kinda erases how fucked up we can be as a people. The ideological system a typical alternia falls under exists on earth too albeit (thankfully) it is still able to be fought back against before its too late.
