I have selected the Seven of Hearts and the Empress. She is a caretaker of hearts and a champion for female liberty. The Seven of Hearts is a person of introspection and therefore inner conflict. Big dreams and a skeptical nature fight for dominance. The path forward is clear but severely forked.

I would say forked as in a choice requiring action. There will be the knowledge that the road not traveled must run parallel to the selected path and it may never intersect. It is a sort of forced compartmentalization of the heart's desires, if that makes sense.
