Despite it being used often to address me, “uncle” is a term that may be completely unfamiliar to members of my species. In simple and essential terms, it denotes an older individual who is expected to have some sort of emotional attachment to your continued education and survival. In this sense, I spent much of my life being somebody’s “uncle,” though I have not seen him in quite some time…but, it warms my pusher to be referred to as such even still. Even when you rascals are using it just to call me an old man, hoho!
