the empire lost all traction and died when her imperial condescension and her loyal grand highblood perished through mysterious causes. the fuchsia that didn't flee planetside in personal ships remain and are too busy fighting over claims of succession to really go anywhere. no clue on the state of colonies on other planets, nor do i care to find out.
at least, in my time. this is a highly unusual case. usually a successor wins out in the event of a downfall, or the empire remains strong. i do not live in this reality

not a terrible thing. the ruckus and chaos on alternia could be better, but there are benefactors and factions trying to restore order. even if i'm not on board with them fully, but they are trying to keep the world moving, at least in trade.

the empire won't come back, at least how we remember it. however. the mercantile guild has a handful of violet governors and at least one well-adjusted purple governor running the show. they're the dominant faction if you ignore the splinter navies and marines of the fuchsias that remain. this is why i keep to the wetlands. i have no following. life is simple, and mostly peaceful.

i welcome the future without fear. the storm is over, and new beginnings can start. turning back to my ancestor, i do wonder if my. contribution also drove her into hiding.
