I am going through some old boxes that I ought to have unpacked much earlier, yet no time like the present, and I have come across a few artifacts of my dismal childhood. First: A rainbow flag with a heart cut out of the centre, it is branded with "mom hugs here". Given as a 'gift' that was with no doubt laden with the most faux saccharin support, much like the never-fulfilled emblazoned phrase.
