Mm. You are rather open about this, to the point that it makes you look somewhat suspicious, I'm afraid. "I am on your side, so tell me who your friends are so that I can protect them" is a lie often used by those seeking to weed out the strange people of society to remove them. Forgive me if I am not entirely trusting of this.
We have all mistakenly fallen for that at times.
