To start I watched the film 'Girlfriends' 8y Claudia Weill and I will say I have nothing 8ut good words to share a8out this movie! It is a casually gut wrenching film a8out how loneliness can consume a woman 8efore she even realizes it's there. How once you recognize an emptiness in your life it feels that all that follows is tragedy upon tragedy. The main character, Susan, follows an oh-so-relata8le pipeline of her attempting to gain control of their life 8y further isolating and the selfishness that comes with the need to protect yourself 8y pushing others away. I won't spoil too much. 8ut I certainly recommend watching if you're a woman that has ever felt particularly lonely.
