Christine is such a CLASSIC case of pale affection 8eing mistaken for flushed affections; I can only assume that this is addressed in the troll version of the story. Hemospectrum politics too, though that much is o8vious, considering the past of the Phantom. There's actually quite a 8it of pale tilt towards him, despite his nastier inclin8tions and evident re8ellious streak towards the righteous high8loods of the story.
