Apologies if it's come off as insensitive. I've never understood *why* the lime caste was persecuted so much, and I can't really seem to get a straight answer anywhere, so I hoped a frame of reference for which is the hardest to live as would give me something to go off of.

There is, of course, a strong likelihood that they were considered a threat 8ecause of their a8ility to pacify others 8ut this remains at 8est a theory.
