-- archangelsTerrarium [AT] posted a video file. -- [ Security cam footage, almost, from a corner in a room that looks like a vintage office space. The ambience of the train thrums in the air alongside static, and it's hard to see through the color contrast until there's a flicker of a flame. Leveret lighting up a cigarette for themself, lounging back in an office chair that's settled roughly in the middle of the room. They breathe in, embers catching a glow on the feed before they exhale. "... am i crazy?" They ask to the empty room. "no, no- i already know the answer to that. of course i am. i mean- why else would i be not letting myself do-- do something more *active*, more physical, and instead because i have to lock myself down i'm doing..." Their head turns, making the office chair do so as they turn to stare at... a massive corkboard. It takes a moment, but there's a scattering of playing cards all over the floor- some of them are pinned up onto the corkboard itself. Even small strings of red thread go this way and that, and sticky notes are on some of the cards themselves. "... all of. *this.*" A bitter edge lingers on their works with a click of their tongue, now actually spinning the chair around a little this way and that. They pause the movements after a while, though, leaning down to pick up a card, placing their cigarette between their lips so that they could pin up this one to the board, too. "couriers, and columnists, and detectives-- *oh my!*" They scoff, but amongst it all, there's a clear, underlying... feeling. Going on. The way their fingers trail along the edge of the cards, the smoke in its curling upwards into the sky before dissipating. "and... autumn." They sigh, taking a few steps back from the board. "can't forget that. autumn wind-- *my*. autumn wind." They find themself staring at the board for a long, long time, before the lights flicker overhead, and they turn to stare deadeyed up at the camera. The moment they do, static and distortions immediately overtake the feed until it corrupts and abruptly ends. ]
