the thing about mythical creatures is that everyone goes for the big ones first and talks about how awesome they are like sure janet dragons are sick and all but the ecological impact that megafauna would have fuckin blows to consider of course they might have some of the most prized manure for crop growing in the land but by god theyve gone and eaten half the peasantry and their flocks like for christssake we have no one to bring in the harvest and the knightly order is edging uncomfortably away from the issue on account of the more idiotic and bold of their number getting turned into human chichirrones plus the political future of the realm is in danger due to the princess getting abducted too and we all know how that shit goes if she gets rescued shes gonna have a mysteriously empowered baby without ever marrying if she doesnt get rescued shes gonna end up an evil dragon queen with all sorts of baggage over the entire realm collectively shrugging at her reptilian and fiery plight as if there were enough dudes send forth clankily at the issue in the first place of course that wouldnt be a problem in the first place if the king could just shoot dudes for the purpose of lineage i mean a daughter is fire and all but for the sake of inheritance theres just gotta be a prince and before you turn into the they who cried #woke ill have you know that this is a genre issue not a me issue otherwise thered be entire libraries filled about dragons abducting crown princes and actually making the whole issue be less about weird virgin politics and have way more to do with political strategy and damn actually a whole series about kingdoms vying to get their sons abducted by the most successful and cunning dragons might actually be sort of lit dont even get me started about griffons #dragons #suggestive
