I have vestigial memories of the original Keats's parents. Most humans have one to two parents on average, maybe more depending on the situation. They raise and nurture you until you get to a point to where you can live on your own. Though not always humans tend to find partners to do this themselves and raise a kid of their own. There are exceptions in my time, and I am such a case. There were no parents or "lusus" involved.

In my time cloning exists, I was made from the genetic data of a man who's been dead for 6000 years (or roughly 2824 sweeps if I am doing my math right). I got better though. Estrogen could've fixed him and I'm proof.
