It is how trolls are built. They find it easier to relate to something that wears a face like them. That feels as they do It can be frustrating, but…don’t hate them for it. They can be taught, to an extent. They are often limited by their own fears and understanding of the world.

Yes. It is…an unfair double standard. It is hard, when one wasn’t originally a person, expected to act as such to gain sympathy and understanding. Being a person to start with…well, to some trolls it won’t matter. But often, it will make them want to restore that troll’s personhood, lamenting its loss.
