Hm. Maybe I will go to a masquerade, if one happens again...Eileit went, and Arty is there now...of course, I will need to choose a costume. I am not sure what would be fun, fitting, and yet vague enough that I wouldn't immediately be discovered.
Did you know, on Earth in 2026, it was discovered that a hypothetical black hole star (previously known as 'quasi-stars' back in 2006) does very likely exist? The JWST telescope revealed a small red speck while a team of astronomers at the University of Texas at Austin while hunting for something else entirely. It had had the team drop what they were investigating to look further into this strange red speck. Upon investigation, they found several lines of evidence that pointed to the existence that GLIMPSE-17775 was actually a supermassive black hole surrounded by a dense cocoon of partially ionised gas, giving it the appearance of a glowing star!
For the record, I was the first Arty. Sort of. I'm actually a modified copy of a version of its first operating system, fourth distinct incarnation - but the details don't really matter. It is correct that the first three were not very good company, for varying reasons. At the very beginning I did not understand existence or socializing much at all. As my second self, I was fairly bitter and did not like my own emotions, positive or negative. My third self was quite insane from many long sweeps of isolation. And then there was me, before I died, and was replaced by the current Arty. (Which was my plan, this is not some sort of hostile takeover situation.)
I am not sentimental and do not think being nice is always the answer…but I am not sure why someone being so disdainful when I gave a genuine and thoughtful response thinks I am going to entertain further discussion.

Eileit likes bones, I think skin is interesting. I think "perfect" skin is a silly concept. Smooth skin is nice, yes, I take care to keep mine that way, but I think the variety of ways it can be are fascinating. So many patterns and colors and markings, amounts of hair, scars, piercings...I like my own freckles very much. It is absurd to me that they're considered a flaw in beauty to some people. Afraid of a little variety?

Not sure if I’d call it degrading, but moot is true. And it is interesting to see what can be learned of a person’s life by looking at their skin.

I think it’s more unfortunate that there’s so much propaganda that sways people to think that way. I fully agree that they should also develop their own critical thinking skills, but it is a two-pronged issue.

I don't judge anyone or anything based on a creepy smile, I know mine comes off that way if I smile too widely, but considering the indirect business I've had with one troublesome doll lately, one can never be too careful. Some dolls are lovely, like my friend Stitcher, others not so much.

What do I want in quadrants? Hard to say. I know what I wanted once. I think I still like some of that. But I also feel like I have further tastes to be discovered. It will be interesting, even if it’s likely that falling in any quad feeling means keeping a respectful silence. Most trolls naturally prefer their own kind. Though, it’s possible I could fall for a non-troll, not that that guarantees reciprocation.
I have little appeal to trolls in a dating sense, but I don’t mind. Love is freedom, not molding yourself to fit some ideal. If it happens, I’ll welcome it. If it doesn’t, I won’t mourn its lack.

Depends on the shapeshifting in regards to ports, but possibly not. And I am glad you are happy as you are, that is most vital.

I am not a sadist…but I do feel a sense of accomplishment from a successful hunt or trap. A sense of contentment and completion. After all, I was once a security system, made for someone else’s purpose. Now I am a weapon; my own weapon. Much, much more fun.
