Online safety tip: telling people where you currently are can be a little risky, but telling people where you're going is significantly more dangerous, as they can lie in wait or set up ambushes. There are ways to offset this. For example, you can say that you're going somewhere, or have arrived, after you have already moved to a different location. You can also mention that there will be other people there, as that can deter certain kinds of people from trying to seek you out. Obviously simply not saying locations is the best. I don't really keep to that, though.
This is factual. Never should you openly disclose your current and imminent location. Primarily to circumvent any potential ambush, it could also lead to someone tracking your movements and following you hive. And once they get that information, there’s no telling what kind of misdeeds they could get up to. Furthermore, one of the least smart things you could do is upload a photo of your location with the full metadata attached. Doing such is essentially just powering a beacon in Minecraft, announcing foolishly to the entire server: “Here I am! Come engage in fisticuffs galore for my valuables and comestibles!” Long stort short- Don’t do this!
