Oh my g66dness I am pr6bably the least qualified leprechaun t6 ever try and explain this. Apparently, tr6lls (and carapacians, p6ssibly?) have f6ur types 6f r6mance, called quadrants, which are represented by <3, <3<, <>, and c3<. And y6u can 6nly be in 6ne type 6f r6mance with s6me6ne at a time, apparently? Alth6ugh switching between them is a thing, t66. Which makes me w6nder why they d6n't let quadrants 6verlap? Anyh6w! Charms! My species' system 6f r6mance. There are nine charms: hearts (🩷), m66ns (🌙), stars (⭐), cl6vers (🍀), diam6nds (🔷), h6rsesh6es (there's n6 h6rsesh6es em6ji, but m6st pe6ple use 🧲), ball66ns (🎈), rainb6ws (🌈), and p6ts 6f g6ld (6nce again, n6 em6ji, and I can't remember which pe6ple use, but I'll use 💰). And unlike quadrants, they can 6verlap. In fact, this is the n6rm! One charm is a casual relati6nship, tw6 charms is a c6mmited relati6nship, and three 6r m6re charms is called a tr6ve, and is c6nsidered the "end g6al" 6f m6st relati6nships. I've... never actually been in any charms t6 any meaningful extent, th6ugh, s6 the exact definiti6ns 6f them all escape me. It's terribly c6nv6luted, particularly t6 s6me6ne c6mpletely unfamiliar with alien r6mance stystems like y6u, I kn6w. But I h6pe I was able t6 answer s6me 6f y6ur questi6ns.

D6n't w6rry, I'm in the same b6at as y6u when it c6mes t6 tr6ll and carapacian r6mance 🥲 We 6nly have 6ne carapacian in 6ur gr6up, and I d6ubt I c6uld get a single w6rd 6ut 6f her ab6ut her l6ve life. But fr6m what I've seen, the <3< 6ne can get... scary... Like h6rsesh6es teasing, but w6rse. And Itchy already makes my life hell by trying t6 h6rsesh6es flirt with me...
