But the intersection of the concept with the hemospectrum is something that there was apparently much argument about on certain websites that I, thankfully, never touched. Very true. I am only clued in on some of the terms, and from my understanding, teminology shifts and varies wildly... I'm 5 sweeps behind on all that, so I doubt that I'd get it if someone of the same fandom culture tried conveying something using their current terms, hah. It is very interesting, though.
