This is the second time I've seen people spitting on the name of the Good Plumber. I can't believe this.
They are the MARIO BROTHERS. The key word is BROTHERS. Luigi is NOTHING without Mario. And in turn Mario is NOTHING without Luigi. They need each other just as Night needs Day. Yin needs Yang. Ego needs Superego needs Id.
If that is so true, why hasn't he gotten equal spotlight? Sure he has his standalone games, but Mario's popularity still ecplises his own. And need i remind the court of the time that Mario abandoned Luigi when he attempted to give him and Peach a hot air balloon ride? ♥︎
Imagine you have a Hot-Air Balloon. And you have your beloved Matesprit at your side. He had sought private time with his beloved. Is that a sin.? Is it a crime.? And before you mention Mario digging into Luigi's foot in that one fucking Sports title.. It was developed my Camelot. Not Nintendo. Mario's eclipsing in popularity is not his fault. It is not right to blame him - DELETE him entirely because he reaped the rewards. It wouldn't be right.
Sigh. We will never be on the same page. It is not his fault entirely, correct, but is it also not his responsibility as his brother to uplift him when he can not do so himself? When everyone else ignores him in favor of Mario? Advocating for one's own flesh and blood is the bare minimum, at least. And regarding the hot air balloon: If Mario had wanted time alone with his beloved, why couldn't he have simply said so? Why go on the hot air balloon that Luigi acquired for all three in the first place? ♥︎
