I see my prior post has sparked some ire. Allow me to elaborate. The definition of female is: "An animal that produces egg(s)." In this instance the only female troll would be the mother grub. And even that is debatable due to the Mother Grub's nebulous definition as "Lusus". Sex has nothing to do with which party probes. Only about which party carries seed (or slurry in this case) and which party holds eggs. If you wish to tell me that trolls are intersex then you must also tell me with a straight face that spotted hyenas are also intersex. Furthermore this has nothing to do with societal gender. Thank you for this. I wasn't quite sure because I had gotten some mixed signals from certain sources. It's my goal to one day meet her in the flesh. But those brooding caverns don't make for easy entry.
You have the right spirit, we are suppliers to the mothergrub but a lot of the other "castes" are removed from seeing her for the reason it's easier to control the masses. If a cloister of jade's are sent underground all their lives. Little clarity comes on land, so there's a lot of trolls who still believe she's an 'animal' when the Empire is lead by an Empress who brainwashes the human populace to "cease reproduction ". Hermaphrodites are perfectly explainable. They jump between boxes. Intersex species sit in both boxes. asexual species get their own box. Even if we take into consideration certain trolls developing eggs. That does not change the fact that I still think they fit in the preexisting boxes.
