I don't believe it would be either irresponsible or selfish for you to run a cafe or inn. You could still do something with said places to help people, rather than make a profit. Since, well.. you hardly need more money, love. You could use either the cafe or inn as a place to offer shelter for those who really need it, whether that be a temporary stay or longer term. But these are just my thoughts on the matter, I know you have your obligations.
