i've grown! it's still a classic in the genre of "old human action nonsense." though. a genre i do still like. for example i could genuinely watch the silly "legendary pictures" godzilla series over and over. kong skull island does not count as one of those because it is technically a vietnam movie. and that is a different genre.
not what i said, it's a good movie in a genre that is very specifically designed to be more compelling as a rollercoaster than as art. that genre used to be quite nice to have on occasion before marvel drilled it into the ground!
