The sunflowers help keep the area from being too dangerous for others, though I still vastly prefer they keep their distance. And after finishing work, one could go to a store or a restaurant! Or perhaps a place to perform their hobbies, like a location for sporting, or other games. And then, one could return hive, perhaps have friends or even a quadrant over.
