i don't think you should define "girlhood" by the thoughts of the masses because... there really isn't a standard metric?? and a lot what MIGHT be considered """standard""" girlhood is extremely white/eurocentric and completely ignores black and indigenous cultures. do we then define it by "experiences misogyny"? now we're defining ourselves by our suffering, which leads to infighting and oppression Olympics instead of focusing on prioritizing intersectionality. i dunno. girlhood is just... the feeling of being a girl.
