Hope is the aspect of telling the rules to fuck off and bending reality to your desires. It's kind of the most overpowered thing you can be. It also has hard counters, and if you don't respect them you'll. Uh. Get owned. You still need solid fundamentals even if you're really fucking bullshit. Basic principles you can fall back on when you're being forced to adapt on the fly.
Okay so like, I fumbled two separate matespritships in the same week, I'm the last person you should be asking for quad advice (you, uh, are venting about a relationship, right?), but uh. Kintsugi is badass. Which in this metaphor would mean "breaking things can be more temporary than you think." And like, it's also not always obvious how severely you've broken things when you're looking from your own frame of reference, right?
