i assume you have hoofbeasts? cause Hoofbeasts like carrots, apples, Beets and fruits.
I might be gettin' one not thrrough a choice of my own but cuz th' boss wants me t' have one ferr herrdin' th' animals.
ooooh! it sounds like you may need a Herding Barkbeast. Since they're trained to deal with unruly and rowdy woolbeasts...plus they protect them and will bring them back when you command them to

yeah, see the barkbeast is trained on keeping predatory beasts who'd otherwise treat your heard as an all you can eat buffet....and, theres quite a LOT of Big Barkbeast breeds that are tasked with chasing down Wolves or Even Bears....those dogs will keep your sheep safe under every circumstance, giving you some relief. a horse wont do all this....A horse would at best let you keep up with your heard...
Yeah so, currrrently I'm th' shepherrd ferr m' woolbeasts. Boss wants me t' starrt worrkin' with th' moobeasts too. Which is wherre th' hoofbeats comes in.
oooh! well that makes more sense? cause if done right, the Hoofbeast will keep the mother cows from trying to trample you when you get too close to her Calf

yeah? a Moobeast is roughly a thousand pounds of pure Muscles.....They're sweet but Dangerous if agrivated...in fact moobeasts tend to kill more than Sharks do....Also its sorta smart to be cautious around any beast with a cub or calf
