💎 Sweetie Belle asked me one day, "Big sister, why can't I be as pretty as you?" I looked at her face, unsure of herself. I took off my fake eyelashes. Wiped off my eyeshadow and unclipped my mane. "Sweetie Belle, our mother gave us this beauty and you are just as pretty too." I don't wear fake lashes as much anymore!
I'm so proud of her! She's gotten so big, too - and so polite! She swings by Sugarcube Corner after school with her friends, I treat her with soda -- and you know what she said? She said "thank you so much!" .. Thank you SO much?? That's very polite! How thoughtful! She's so grateful for a soda! That's not just polite, that's you! Oh, sorry, am I rambling? I hear that I get really ramble-y! :o It's so lucky she's got you in her life! If we all had big sisters like you, we'd all be living in heaven!
It's all just experience! I know better than most how important a big sister can be when you're growing up - especially when you're so unsure of a lot of things. What every kid needs is something to be sure of! For her, that's you. Isn't sisterhood beautiful?

I was texting her this morning, showing her some memes, and I asked that EXACT question - can you believe it? I said "Maud, how the heck are ya?" and she said Get this, she said; "👍" That means she's doing really good, I think!
