When you present to me a character who acts constantly to save those around her whilst believing herself to be uniquely capable of cruelty and terrified of how another version of her hurt everyone she has ever cared for, and then every single man she happens to save starts to lust after her in a way that is sometimes a little less than cute, and often somewhat inappropriate, I am not going to be entirely pleased with it. However, it does do a decent job of baking the balance of angst and hopefulness into the whole show in such a way that the discomfort of the "love interests" can be ignored for the most part... I can't really recommend this one either, but if you're used to this sort of genre, it's pretty good. #lockanime
