War as a narrative device f⚣r ya⚣i is really g⚣⚣d. I'll never f⚣rget this ⚣ne b⚣⚣k I read ab⚣ut the perspective ⚣f tw⚣ s⚣ldier b⚣ys fr⚣m different warring facti⚣ns. It switches fr⚣m each perspective until they meet. The fighting had st⚣pped and they were resting and rec⚣uperating, ⚣ne ⚣f the b⚣ys was injured and crying f⚣r help ⚣r t⚣ be killed. The ⚣ther b⚣y ⚣n the ⚣pp⚣sing side ended up g⚣ing ⚣ut and l⚣⚣king f⚣r him, and instead ⚣f killing him, he treated his w⚣unds and sung t⚣ him t⚣ keep him calm as there was a language barrier between them.
