D --> The tentacles require me to be physically present and connected to the target, so I cannot for instance become nothingness while still keeping the target restrained D --> The chain, once attached, can remain in place, but is generally less fle%ible than the tentacles and I'd have to carry around a bunch for multiple targets
Magical chain probably has the least misconstruing possible. Depending on the strength of the chain as well it may be more effective. All my methods are pretty final and fatall, usually for the user and the target. What other options would you consider, and what are you fighting exactly? Or are you just preparing for all occasions?

Then your best bet is to get traps and anointed capture tools, generally things blessed by something that holy power. I've seen someone use faith in human christian gods have luck in doing this, but any god-blessed person from any reality may be able to do it. Speaking of, you look like you are tiered, did you go full god? You may be able to do the blessing yourself. Otherwise, there are circles, traps, and runes that can depower such creatures, my matesprit and his future clone both have dabbled in runes that can depower and nullify powerful creatures, I could ask them both and provide what we've been using with permission. Otherwise I could do some digging into other realities and see what their common capture, binding, and subduing methods are.
