The Unspoken Name by A. K. Larkwood. It's the first of two books in a high fantasy series focused on an orc priestess who was raised for the purpose of sacrifice. Before she can meet her life's purpose, she is saved by a wizard and trained to use a sword so that she may render him aid.. It's filled to the brim with vivid descriptions, unique concepts I've never seen in any other fantasy media, as well as an LGBT cast.
