Would advising you to just talk with them and hear out their choice for you get anywhere? I spoke with Echidna and she had some options for me to choose: do her request or face her in combat. The request was something that seemed bizarre as hell but possibly doable, so I went with that, but I know you prefer combat. I just think you should at least hear 'em out, y'know?
