All of that is viable. I mean, realistically, it's a hand. For practicality purposes, it has to be physically capable of doing anything a real hand could do, preferably to an equal or greater extent. Otherwise it's just a sex toy, and kind of a half-baked one at best. And I don't half-ass my work. Creating paired ones is also viable, because they'd be calibrated to the owner.
