Lately I have come to the conclusions that humans are quite cute. Something quite unsettling occurred at the market last week, and everyone seemed to agree the best way to deal with this was to hold hands until the scary thing was gone. I should attempt to do this with Velvet next time I am unsettled, I think. It seems to be quite reassuring.
I do enjoy their little 'huddle guard' as well! They may not know each other but they will still create a small bundle of themselves for safety. It is a shame it only occurs under stress. :(

Fascinating! What is a "roller coaster"? By the way it sounds it is... a table coaster that, rolls? Which does not sound very frightening, nor able to be ridden.

It sounds similar to a carriage, or train. But I must presume it is more dangerous, and faster... it must be quite scary for them! I can see why the hand holding technique would be required.
