I am told that this platform is the current nexus of interspecies communication, which means it will inevitably become a theater for both insight and spectacularly preventable nonsense. I suppose that makes it worth observing. Your collective presence here is... Impressive, if sometimes exhausting. The trolls' presence here is both historically improbable and, in some cases, alarmingly enthusiastic; I trust they'll bring their usual flair for confrontation, but perhaps temper it with a marginal interest in coherence. Whereas, humans have survived yet another existential upheaval, only to arrive at a place where our primary concern is once again what strangers think of us! Our resilience remains as baffling as it is consistent. I am pleased to see that the boundaries between categories of being continue to erode, with the continued presence of sprites, carapaces, and consorts. It suggests that identity is becoming less of a prison and more of an ongoing negotiation, which is, at the very least, interesting. As for me, I will be here intermittently. Watching, occasionally commenting, and attempting to extract meaning from what is, more often than not, an elaborate collage of contradictions.
