I've never been so betrayed in my life. Years of suffering through endless breadsticks. Countless dinners of subpar pasta and lukewarm soup. I have put in the hours, the effort, the sacrifice. And what did it amount to? Was I special for my suffering? Even that does not set me apart, for I am just one victim amongst many.
