I can understand this. I love women, really. But I suppose I have more issues surrounding them. I likely draw this back not to my actual preference, but rather my issues with my (see: our) mother that led me to having an admittedly large sense of internalized sexism. Our only female figure was always there being... detached. Wheras the lack of a father figure makes the desire for male validation upsettingly desireable. I do wish that I was not so simply swayed by these things, but you cannot stray far from your childhood.
