That bastard has somehow managed to poison even this. A long-awaited moment with Meulin and Mother. I watch her now, and I know with cold certainty that she will go. She will smile and agree to step back into the shadow of the very man who shackled and killed her. Am I the only one who sees the profound sickness in this pantomime? The question is rhetorical, of course. The answer is a performative hell I am now condemned to endure. Time to resurrect this rod of mine and go fishing.
